How To Prepare The Students To Travel To Foreign Country
How To Prepare The Students To Travel To Foreign Country While preparing the students to trip, the teacher must think over the steps to be made to convince the students of the advantages of travelling. Thus, the first and most important issue is related to the experience which students can get while communicating with native speakers.Advertising We will write a custom critical writing sample on How To Prepare The Students To Travel To Foreign Country? specifically for you for only $16.05 $11/page Learn More In my opinion, the most important advantage for students is an opportunity to improve communication skills as well as to obtain some knowledge concerning culture peculiarities of other country. The teacher may point out that students who have an opportunity to visit foreign countries can get not only emotional experience, but also mental and social one. Social experience is related to customs and traditions which a person can become familiar with. Mental experience, in its turn, concerns with numerous cognitive processes which impact on intellect development. One more issue I would like to touch on concerns with the so-called subjective experience, which means the perception of other reality. Thus, the teacher is to explain his/her students that subjective experience appears when students interact with foreign environment. One should keep in mind that understanding other reality is also to be taken into consideration. Thus, the teacher is to explain the students that foreign reality means world views or beliefs which differ from the reality of their own nation. Another point I would like to draw your attention to is related to the notion of concept. Thus, the teacher is to explain that most concepts which students must take into account are related to the linguistic origin. For instance, it is a well-known fact that learning foreign languages is not an easy task, and in most cases the native speakers of English will not understand those who speak Russian. Thus, the main problem is not onl y the lack of practice, but some aspects which touch upon various countries mentality. So, the thing which is considered to be of primary importance is the teacherââ¬â¢s concentrating on the advantages which students are able to receive. The idea to show the students some documentary films seems to be rather attractive too. For instance, watching a film is considered to be a necessary step to provide students with some general/basic knowledge about the country they want/can visit. On the other hand, they can become familiar with the realities (traditions, customs) of other country. Some economic issues are also to be taken into account. Thus, the teacher must touch on certain contradictions concerning economic questions. Next step which the teacher is to draw his/her attention to concerns with educational quality improvement. Of course, nobody will deny the fact that direct communication with native speakers as well as feeling the atmosphere of foreign life can not be replaced by foreign literature reading/studying.Advertising Looking for critical writing on education? Finally, there is a great opportunity to enlarge studentsââ¬â¢ knowledge about the history and geography of the country they are going to visit. Thus, the students are able to become familiar not only with the social history, but also with cultural and economic history. In some cases, military history as well as environmental one is also to be taken into account. The disadvantages are also to be touched on. Thus, the teacher is to describe some unpleasant situations which may occur while travelling.

Breathe-Taking Experiences Essay Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 500 words - 2
Breathe-Taking Experiences - Essay Example To me, the most interesting part of the visit to the aquarium was the Giant Tank Ocean that was home to over 2,000 sea creatures. Although the animals were not in their natural habitat, the ocean tank provided a semblance of what could appear to be the natural habitat to these sea creatures since they appeared comfortable in the ocean tank. It occurred to me that only technological advancements by human beings enabled me to see this array of creatures. In this case, the absence of the immense technological advancement could limit my interaction with such a significant number of sea creatures. This made me appreciate the role of science and technology in ensuring that human beings had a chance to interact with nature albeit, not in its natural habitat. Ã After the visit to the aquarium, we went shopping for our spring break to Miami. The shopping experience not only gave me more time to bond with my friends, but I also appreciated the value of a deserved break to have the opportunity to relax and reenergize my brain and body to handle the final part of the semester. During the break, the atmosphere offered by the beaches at Miami will be necessary for rejuvenating my spirits and strength as a break is required in many aspects of our lives. Other than reenergizing, a break is important to reflect on the progress that I have made as a student up to this far. I will take the opportunity to address the challenges I have faced as a student and my personal growth in order to find areas that I should improve in order to succeed as a student. Ã

Rise of the electronic music scene in todays generation Research Paper
Rise of the electronic music scene in todays generation - Research Paper Example From that time, music that became created with electronic instruments, instead of the electromechanical designs from which they were made. Major factors promoting the rise of Electronic Music Electronic music scene in its self has seen so much rise and advancements from the very first days of its origin when it was created. These changes are due to a number of factors, which can be given timelines right from the onset of the production of the first electronic instrument. For example in the seasons of the 1940s and the 1950s, the Electroacoustic tape music was introduced. This brought about the production of the very first practical audio tape recorder in Berlin (Brophy et al, 2009). It was the development of the audio tape recorder that gave way to the electroacoustic tape music. Then in the 1960s, there was further expansion of electronic music with the advent of computer music and live electronic. Indeed, this was going to be a major break through for the rise and advancement of el ectronic music as computers were engineered to play recognizable tunes by the use of complex amplification of sounds (Brophy, 2002). Today, the developments have reached sections whereby there have been the production of sequencers and drum machines, MIDI, chip tunes, circuit bending, digital synthesis, among others as part of the expansion of electronic music. To sum it all, electronic music has grown to a stage where it has become more accustomed with todayââ¬â¢s generation. Electronic Music as Popular Culture Whether by accident or as a plan, the people of today have become more sophisticated with the genre of music they cherish to listen to. Indeed, the people of todayââ¬â¢s... This "Rise of the electronic music scene in todayââ¬â¢s generation" essay outlines the origin of this musical style and its impact on the modern society. Discussions on the rise of electronic music would almost be incomplete if the subject of globalization is not mentioned. This is because globalization has shot up the popularity of electronic music so much so that there is virtually no corner of this world that electronic music is not found. It is not surprising therefore that some analysts choose to say that electronic music has grown beyond the description of how a piece of music was produced into a genre of music. With globalization, which is led by the use of computers and its sophisticated partner, the internet, music produced in the smallest part of America can reach the smallest part of Asia or Australia in a matter of seconds. This way, what was originally supposed to be the line of music of the American people, has today become a global music genre because of globalizati on. One other trick that electronic music is doing so well and so fast is the fact that the production of electronic music has become a universal phenomenon. In other words, a person living in Africa would not only have the pleasure of listening to an electronic music from America but also have the honor of using sophisticated electronic devices in composing electronic music even when he wants to make a genre of music popular to his culture. There are several impacts of the rise of electronic music scene on todayââ¬â¢s generation that can be pointed out.

Hamlet Essay Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 750 words - 4
Hamlet - Essay Example These include the 'Histoires Tragiques' by Francois de Belleforest and the ââ¬ËSaxo Grammaticus' History of Denmark, written in Latin in the 12th century. The plot revolves around Hamlet and his psychological turmoils in the midst of a vortex of violence and murders. In the play Hamlet's uncle usurps his father's throne and takes his father's wife as his own. His uncle does this after first killing Hamletââ¬â¢s father the King of Denmark. Hamlet, in an act of revenge, kills his uncle in turn. This basic storyline is the backdrop of a great emotional and psychological inner turmoil on the part of Hamlet. Here Hamlet is unable to resolve some fundamental dilemmas, including a large degree of uncertainty over his uncle's accountability for the crime (Shakespeare; Mabillard; Houghton Mifflin Harcourt). This paper focuses on the literary element of character, and in particular the character of Hamlet, focusing on the theme of uncertainty and the subjectivity of human experience. The thesis is that this uncertainty is at the root of Hamlet's inner struggles to come to terms with the death of his father and the hands of fate that seemed to have thrust him into the position of avenging son and tormented soul (Houghton Mifflin Harcourt; Mabillard). II. ... In this scene Hamlet is in a Danish plain, pondering after he had asked Rosencrantz to go ahead of him while he took some time to collect himself (Shakespeare): Now, whether it beà Bestial oblivion, or some craven scrupleà Of thinking too precisely on th' event, A thought which, quarter'd, hath but one part wisdomà And ever three parts coward,- I do not knowà Why yet I live to say 'This thing's to do,'à Sith I have cause, and will, and strength, and meansà To do't. (Shakespeare Act 4, Scene 4, p. 81) In the passage above Hamlet is examining his own thought processes and his own subjective way of processing his reality, and come face to face with an ambiguity in his understanding of how he thinks and acts (Shakespeare Act 4, Scene 4. p. 81). Yes, in the end Hamlet understands that to live is to live in ambiguity. Within this subjectivity the character of Hamlet unfolds. One lives with oneââ¬â¢s biases. In the following passage Hamlet demonstrates this, as in grief he colors the chain of events leading to her mother's remarriage and his fatherââ¬â¢s death with his own subjective bias (Shakespeare): My father's brother, but no more like my father Than I to Hercules. Within a month, Ere yet the salt of most unrighteous tears Had left the flushing in her galled eyes, She married. O, most wicked speed, to post With such dexterity to incestuous sheets! (Shakespeare Act 1, Scene 2, p. 11) In the passage above the subjectivity springs from Hamletââ¬â¢s grief over his fatherââ¬â¢s death, which prompts him to feel aggrieved and to be affronted by what he subjectively interprets as his mother and uncleââ¬â¢s deceit (Shakespeare Act 1, Scene 2, p. 11). An aspect of that subjective uncertainty is in evidence in the way
